Transportation Coordinator

Our Pensacola Pediatric Extended Care Center is looking for someone highly motivated with great communication skills, as well being able to prioritize duties and multitask. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including  managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization. This includes organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are maintained safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that routes are followed as assigned. 


  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • Professional appearance and communication with drivers, patients, providers, clinic staff and co-workers
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Care and compassion for special needs children
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated and possess excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Attention to detail while possessing a flexible and problem solving mind-set to handle moment to moment changes is a key qualification
  • Ability to dispatching and provide driver support
  • Routing which includes developing efficient routes while accommodating the time needs of each cleint
  • Ability to function in a fast paced environment
  • Able to pass Background/Drug  Screening.
